Katja has been working as a guide and lecturer in the Arctic and Antarctic since 2011. Her scientific background enables her to present informative and entertaining lectures on glaciology,  ice cores, climate change and its effect on polar regions and life and research on scientific bases in Antarctica. She is an experienced Zodiac driver, holds a power boat license, a first aid certificate and a firearm license. She speaks fluently English and German.
